Targeting symptomatic fibroids with MR-HIFU therapy
This patient presented with substantial symptoms that could not be controlled with hormonal therapies. MR-HIFU treatment was performed on the symptom-dominant fibroid. At 6 months follow-up the patient reported menstrual cycle normalization, significant symptom improvement and discontinuation of medications.

Effective MR-HIFU therapy of two uterine fibroids with aid of patient positioning
Patient desired uterine-sparing therapy for two anterior fibroids that caused complaints of menorrhagia, bloating and frequent urination. While some patient repositioning was required to obtain sufficent coverage of both fibroids, successful MR-HIFU therapy was achieved in 2.5 hours.

GnRH agonist pre-treatment before MR-HIFU fibroid treatment
