1.5T / 3.0T Black blood cardiac imaging (UPDATE)
Black blood imaging is commonly used for visualization of the morphology of the heart. Standard preset procedures are available, but might need adaptation in specific situations. A black blood ExamCard for release 2.1 and 2.6, containing adapted protocols for specific situations, is available for both 1.5T and 3.0T.

T2-weighted cardiac imaging is often used to visualize edema in the cardiac muscle. Several imaging sequences are available for T2-weighted imaging, some of which are described in great detail in literature. This release 2.5.3 ExamCard contains T2-weighted cardiac triggered sequences for 1.5T.

A 54-year-old male patient presented with severe headache. A glioblastoma multiform was suspected. An MR-examination was performed in Uppsala University Hospital in Sweden. Spectroscopic imaging was performed to assist in the evaluation of the glioblastoma multiform.
