MRI of RV Dysplasia - Tips and Clinical Imaging Protocol
RV free wall is thin, and MRI is a versatile tool capable of imaging fatty/fibrous infiltration into the RV wall that is associated with this disease. The basic protocol consists of a series of T2-TSE black blood images. A set of cine bFFE images are acquired at the same orientation to identify functional abnormality.

1.5T / 3.0T Black blood cardiac imaging (UPDATE)
Black blood imaging is commonly used for visualization of the morphology of the heart. Standard preset procedures are available, but might need adaptation in specific situations.
