32-channel coil boosts 3.0T neuro imaging at Kennedy Krieger
Kennedy Krieger Institute sees significantly better fMRI, DTI, spectroscopic imaging with the 32-channel SENSE Head coil on the Achieva 3.0T X-series. Because the 32-channel coil provides increased SNR, clinicians can either scan faster or get higher spatial resolution or temporal resolution, depending on the particular study.
