Achieva 3.0T TX overcomes high field challenges
MR imaging at 3T has always been subject to challenges such as dielectric shading and local SAR limiting speed. Now, the Achieva 3.0T TX scanner has fundamentally addressed those challenges by using multiple RF sources. The first Achieva 3.0T TX was installed at University of Bonn.

3.0T Cardiac ExamCards according to the SCMR guidelines for R2.6
The Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR) publishes guidelines for cardiac MR, to aid standardization of CMR acquisitions. As CMR evolves, it is anticipated that these will be updated and new modules may be added. These ExamCards for SW R2.6.1 and higher are set-up according to the revised SCMR-guidelines published in JCMR, July 2008.

SmartExam-aided functional MRI at University of Bonn
The accuracy of functional localizer tasks in individuals undergoing functional MRI (fMRI) studies depends upon a number of methodological issues. Using a SmartExam-aided slice orientation approach on the Achieva 3.0T allowed the Bonn group to automate, standardize and accelerate its fMRI protocols.
