Imaging brain/carotids of very large patient
If a patient is too wide to fit in the bore for brain MRI in the conventional way, a solution may be to place the patient's arms above the head and use the SENSE Flex L coil.

32-channel coil boosts 3.0T neuro imaging at Kennedy Krieger
Kennedy Krieger Institute sees significantly better fMRI, DTI, spectroscopic imaging with the 32-channel SENSE Head coil on the Achieva 3.0T X-series.
